Template
Section titled “Template”First apply your board's template from its board page, so the I2C pins are set. Then paste this into the Board Template box on the node's Templates page, Preview and Apply. It sets only this add-on's settings and works on any chip. See Add-on templates.
{"settings":{"SHT_I2c_Bus":1}}- Plug it into the GROVE port. The Atom S3 Lite and NanoC6 board templates set GROVE as I2C bus 1. On another board, set I2C bus 1’s SDA and SCL pins on the Hardware page first.
- Applying the template needs firmware newer than v5.0.0b2 (ESPresense#2555). Older firmware asks for a
"chip"; set the values on the Hardware page instead. - Only the SHT30 is read. ESPresense has no QMP6988 driver, so the unit reports no pressure. For pressure, the ENV II and ENV IV use a BMP280.
- The SHT30 publishes
temperatureandhumidity, the same topics as an SCD4x CO2 sensor, so don’t run both on one node.
