Template
Section titled “Template”First apply your board's template from its board page, so the I2C pins are set. Then paste this into the Board Template box on the node's Templates page, Preview and Apply. It sets only this add-on's settings and works on any chip. See Add-on templates.
{"settings":{"SHT_I2c_Bus":1,"BMP280_I2c_Bus":1,"BMP280_I2c":"0x76"}}- Plug it into the GROVE port. The Atom S3 Lite and NanoC6 board templates set GROVE as I2C bus 1. On another board, set I2C bus 1’s SDA and SCL pins on the Hardware page first.
- Applying the template needs firmware newer than v5.0.0b2 (ESPresense#2555). Older firmware asks for a
"chip"; set the values on the Hardware page instead. - The SHT30 publishes
temperatureandhumidity, the same topics as an SCD4x CO2 sensor, so don’t run both on one node. - The BMP280 publishes
bmp280_temperatureandbmp280_pressure. The SHT30’s temperature is the more accurate of the two. - The ENV IV is the same pairing with an SHT40; see M5Stack ENV IV.
